PK Hosting vs other Pakistani hosting companies: an honest 2026 comparison

PK Hosting TeamAugust 3, 2026 9 min read

Rows of servers in a modern data centre

Every hosting company says it is the best web hosting in Pakistan. We are a hosting company, so you should be exactly as sceptical of this page as of anyone else's. Here is our attempt to earn the click anyway: every competitor figure below comes from that company's own published pricing, checked on 3 August 2026, and we have kept in the places where they beat us. Prices in this market move often — treat the numbers as a snapshot and check the linked pages before you buy.

What actually separates Pakistani hosts

After you strip the marketing, shared hosting in Pakistan differs on five things: how much storage you get per rupee (and whether it is NVMe or older SATA SSD), what the renewal costs after the first-term discount expires, which currency you are billed in, how you pay, and what happens when you need help at 11pm. Panels, uptime badges and "unlimited" claims matter less than those five.

Storage per rupee — read the small number, not the big one

The most common trick in Pakistani hosting is a reasonable-looking yearly price attached to a tiny disk. Rs 5,460 a year for 1 GB, or Rs 5,000 for 1.5 GB, is enough for a five-page brochure site and nothing else — one WordPress site with photos and email will outgrow it in months, and the upgrade is where the real pricing lives. Our Personal plan is Rs 6,990 a year for 5 GB of NVMe storage; NVMe matters because it is several times faster than the SATA SSDs still common at the budget end, and disk speed is what you feel on every uncached page load.

The renewal trap

Two pricing patterns dominate this market. The first is the first-term discount: WebSouls' own pricing page lists renewals 36–52% above the sign-up price, Navicosoft renews about 15% higher, CreativeON discounts the first invoice by 15%. The second is the long prepay: Hostinger's famous Rs 399/mo headline requires 48 months paid upfront, and then renews at roughly two and a half times that. Neither is dishonest — the numbers are published — but almost nobody reads them at checkout.

Our position is simpler: the price you sign up at is the price you renew at. Rs 699 a month stays Rs 699 a month. We think a hosting bill should be boring.

Rupee billing, and being able to actually pay

Some long-running "Pakistani" hosts bill in US dollars from abroad, which means every rupee slide is a silent price increase and every payment needs an international card. Others take local wallets but process them manually over WhatsApp, which works until you need a renewal processed at midnight on a weekend. We bill in PKR with JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer and cards, and card payments can auto-renew through Stripe so a missed reminder never takes your site down.

The cPanel question — our honest answer

Almost every incumbent sells cPanel, and if you have used cPanel for ten years and want exactly that, several hosts in the table will serve you well — that is a genuine reason to choose them. We built our own dashboard instead, for two reasons. First, cPanel's per-account licence fees (in dollars) are baked into every cPanel host's pricing, and those fees have risen year after year. Second, with our own panel, billing, domains, support and hosting management live in one place — files, email accounts, databases, DNS records, SSL, backups and password resets, without bouncing between a billing portal and a separate control panel. New features land based on what our customers ask for, not on a vendor's roadmap.

WebSouls is the closest thing this market has to an incumbent, so we put the two of us side by side in detail — every plan, every price, and the renewal column most comparisons leave out: PK Hosting vs WebSouls.

Where competitors beat us

A comparison you cannot lose is not a comparison, so: .pk domains are cheaper elsewhere. PKNIC's base works out to Rs 3,600 for the standard 2-year term; HostBreak sells at Rs 3,600 and PKDomain at Rs 2,949, while we charge Rs 4,500. The absolute price floor is not ours either — WebHostingPK's Rs 2,000/yr for 10 GB NVMe is the cheapest real offer we found, and if raw price is your only criterion, that is the honest pick. Track record: WebSouls has operated since 2002 with walk-in offices in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, and HostBreak and CreativeON date to 2001 — we are the newer brand, and phone-first buyers may prefer a host with a landline and a lobby. What we offer instead is documented above; judge the trade.

Support, in practice

Published support windows differ more than prices: EasyHost lists 10am–8pm availability, Hostinger is live-chat only, and several hosts route everything through tickets. We run WhatsApp plus tickets against a small enough customer base that the person answering can actually see your server. That is the honest advantage of a smaller host — the same reason we can show live disk, bandwidth and mailbox usage right on your dashboard instead of making you ask.

So what should you pick?

  • You want the absolute cheapest workable hosting: WebHostingPK's entry plan, eyes open about the renewal bundle.
  • You want cPanel specifically and a 20-year-old brand: WebSouls or HostBreak, reading the renewal column first.
  • You want the cheapest .pk domain: PKDomain or HostBreak, and you can still host anywhere.
  • You want fast NVMe hosting at a flat price, paid in rupees, with everything managed from one modern dashboard: that is the product we built. Start with a hosting plan or check full pricing — and if you are moving from one of the hosts above, our zero-downtime migration guide shows exactly how, and our team helps with eligible migrations.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best web hosting company in Pakistan?

It depends on what you optimise for. For the lowest workable price, WebHostingPK's Rs 2,000/yr entry plan is hard to beat; for cPanel loyalists, long-running hosts like WebSouls or HostBreak fit; for flat-price NVMe hosting billed in rupees with billing and hosting managed in one dashboard, that is what PK Hosting is built for. Compare storage per rupee and the renewal price, not just the headline.

Why is cheap hosting in Pakistan often a bad deal?

Because the cheap number is usually attached to 1–1.5 GB of slow SATA storage, a first-term discount that expires at renewal, or a multi-year prepay. A realistic WordPress site needs several GB of fast storage, so you either upgrade quickly at a higher tier or live with a slow site. Always check the renewal price and the storage type before comparing headline prices.

Do I need cPanel for hosting in Pakistan?

No — cPanel is a control panel, not the hosting itself. It is familiar, but its rising per-account licence fees are built into every cPanel host's pricing. What matters is whether you can manage files, email, databases, DNS, SSL and backups easily. If you specifically want cPanel, choose a host that offers it; if you want those features without paying the licence overhead, a well-built custom dashboard does the same job.

Is Hostinger good for Pakistani websites?

Hostinger is a competent international host with PKR pricing, but the Rs 399/mo headline requires paying 48 months upfront and renews around Rs 999/mo, support is live-chat only, and its nearest data centres are in India and Singapore. If you prefer paying yearly in rupees via JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer with local support, a Pakistani host is usually the more practical choice.
