Terms of Service

1. Who We Are & Acceptance

PK Hosting is operated by TechAbout (Private) Limited (NTN 7936522), trading as PK Hosting, a company registered in Pakistan. In these terms, "we", "us" and "PK Hosting" refer to this company, and "you" refers to the account holder.

By ordering or using any PK Hosting service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service — including the Acceptable Use rules below — together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility & Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter into a binding contract to open an account.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information at sign-up and to keep it up to date. Accounts opened with false or misleading details may be suspended or terminated.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password and login details secure. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require you to strengthen a weak password before continuing service.

3. Services We Provide

We provide web hosting, WordPress hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, domain registration, SSL certificates and related services on a subscription basis.

Some services — including VPS, dedicated servers and reseller plans — may require identity or payment verification and resource-availability checks before activation. Plan specifications and pricing may change over time; the specification shown at the time of your order applies to your current term.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services, or allow anyone else to use them, to host, store, transmit or link to any of the following:

• Content that is illegal under the laws of Pakistan or your jurisdiction, or that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
• Malware, phishing pages, fraudulent schemes (including pyramid, Ponzi or unrealistic high-yield programs) or content designed to deceive.
• Unsolicited bulk email (spam), including sending to purchased or harvested lists, or hosting a site advertised through spam.
• Pornographic content, or material that incites hatred, violence or discrimination.
• Activity that attacks, scans, overloads or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any network, server or account.

Accounts found in violation may be suspended or terminated, with or without notice depending on the severity, and serious matters may be reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Fair Use of Shared Resources

Shared and reseller hosting run on servers used by many customers, so they operate under a fair-use policy. Sustained, disproportionate use of CPU, memory, disk I/O or storage that degrades service for others may be throttled, and we will contact you to resolve it — moving you to a VPS or dedicated plan is often the right fix.

Shared plans are intended to host your own websites and their normal email, not to run backup archives, file-sharing or bulk-download services, media-streaming farms or standalone mailing systems.

6. Payment, Renewals & Price Changes

Services are billed in advance for the term you select. Checkout, invoices and payment records are handled through pkhosting.com. We accept card (via Stripe), PayPal, bank transfer and JazzCash/Easypaisa; PayPal payments are settled in USD.

A renewal invoice is generated before your term ends. Where you have enabled automatic payment, your saved method is charged on the due date; otherwise you pay the renewal invoice manually. You can cancel a service from your dashboard before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.

Renewals are charged at the then-current rate. Because much of our pricing is linked to registry and infrastructure costs quoted in USD, PKR prices may move with exchange rates. We aim to give reasonable notice of any substantial price change before it applies to your renewal.

7. Backups & Your Data

Keeping working backups of your website, databases and email is your responsibility. We may keep server-level backups to help recover from infrastructure failure, but these are provided on a best-effort basis and must not be relied on as your only copy of your data.

We recommend downloading regular backups from your control panel and storing them somewhere separate from your hosting account.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate a service for non-payment, breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use policy, or conduct that risks harm to our network, staff or other customers. Where practical we will give notice and a chance to fix the problem first; serious violations may be actioned immediately.

Abusive or threatening behaviour toward our staff may result in suspension without refund. On termination for cause, no refund is due. After an account is closed, data may be permanently deleted, so export anything you need beforehand.

9. Domains, SSL & Third-Party Products

Domain registrations, transfers and SSL certificates are provided together with registries and certificate authorities and are also governed by their terms. Once a domain is registered or transferred on your behalf, the fee is non-refundable. Resold third-party products remain subject to the original provider's warranties and support.

10. Your Domain Is Yours

A domain registered through us is your asset, and we treat it that way. We will not delete or drop a domain registered with us before it reaches its expiry date, even if you stop hosting with us.

If you decide to leave, we simply turn off automatic renewal so your card is not charged again, and let the domain run to its natural expiry — you keep full control and can renew it or transfer it to another registrar at any time. Keeping the registration current after that point (so the name does not lapse) is your responsibility.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PK Hosting is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from the use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the affected service in the three months before the claim arose.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
