Web hosting that feels effortless

Our shared hosting is Linux hosting for websites, PHP applications and supported databases. It does not include Windows Server, IIS or Microsoft SQL Server. For a Windows .NET Web API with SQL Server Express, choose a Windows VPS or request a dedicated-server quote.

Shared hosting includes access to your hosting control panel and your account's website tools. It does not include RDP, server root or Windows Administrator access. You cannot install your own operating system or change server-wide services.

Personal includes 1 website and 5 GB SSD, Business 5 websites and 25 GB SSD, and Professional 10 websites and 50 GB SSD. Storage is shared by your account’s website files, databases and email. Existing services may retain an earlier allowance; check your service details and usage in the dashboard.

Your websites use the hosting server's shared public IP and standard HTTP and HTTPS ports. A dedicated IPv4 is not included as a standard shared-hosting feature. Arbitrary listening ports, Windows RDP and server firewall changes are unavailable on shared plans.

You can upload compatible website applications and use the database and application tools supplied for your account. Server-wide packages, IIS, the Windows .NET Hosting Bundle and SSMS cannot be installed on shared hosting. Check application requirements with support before ordering.

Free SSL is included. Daily hosting backups are on-site on the hosting server: Personal keeps the latest daily copy (1-day retention), Business 3 days, Professional 5 days. Files, databases and email are included; DNS is included when DNS is hosted with us. Restores from copies still listed in the dashboard are included. If no copy remains, recovery is scoped with support. Backups are best-effort with no contractual recovery-time SLA — keep an independent copy. We manage the hosting platform; you remain responsible for site content, application updates and third-party licenses. Migration: Assisted migration designed to minimize downtime, with cutover coordinated with the customer. We copy the site, test a preview, and switch DNS only after you approve. We do not promise zero downtime — the old host, DNS propagation and application issues can still interrupt service.

There is no monthly GB transfer quota and no per-GB overage invoice. Unmetered is not unlimited CPU, RAM, disk I/O or a reserved network pipe. Normal websites and email are fine. Sustained high CPU, memory, disk I/O or network that degrades neighbours is throttled or suspended, and we will ask you to upgrade to a VPS or dedicated server.

We do not use CloudLinux LVE reserved caps. CPU: Fair-use shared CPU — no reserved cores and no CloudLinux LVE cap. RAM: Fair-use shared memory — no reserved RAM and no CloudLinux LVE cap. Entry processes: Shared PHP-FPM / web-process pool — no published per-account entry-process quota. Disk I/O: Fair-use disk I/O on the shared host — sustained saturation is throttled. Published package differences are websites, storage, email, databases and cron jobs — see the comparison table. Sustained high use that degrades neighbours is throttled; we will ask you to upgrade.

Lightweight Node.js apps can run from the Hosting Control Panel alongside a normal website. Current Node.js LTS versions offered in the Hosting Control Panel at setup — check the panel's Node.js app list for the live versions on your account. Only the panel-managed Node.js app process is supported. Arbitrary long-running workers, PM2 as a system service, and customer systemd units are not allowed on shared hosting. WebSockets can work when the panel Node app is reverse-proxied on HTTPS (ports 80/443). We do not publish a public custom port for the app. npm is available in the app environment. yarn or pnpm can be used only as a user-level install inside that app directory — not as a server-wide package manager. Apps bind to a localhost port assigned by the panel. Public traffic arrives on 80/443 through the web server. You cannot open arbitrary public ports on shared hosting. PM2, root systemd services and Docker are not available on shared plans. Use a VPS if you need those.

Client / Billing Dashboard (pkhosting.com/dashboard): invoices, services, profile, tickets and payments. Hosting Control Panel (https://panel.pkhosting.com/ — Hestia): website files, email, DNS zones, SSL, databases, cron, backups and Node.js apps for that hosting account. They are two different logins. Billing never replaces the hosting control panel.

The checkout shows the complete first-term amount, billing period and any setup charge before payment. Renewal invoices use your service's recurring price, subject to notified changes under the terms. A promotional free domain does not make later domain renewals free; the domain renewal price is shown separately.

You can request a larger hosting plan when you need more account capacity. The team confirms prorated charges and any migration before changing the service. For eligible services, explicitly enable auto-renewal with a supported saved card; bank-transfer renewals need payment of the invoice.
