Reinstall the operating system on a VPS
An OS reinstall wipes the disk. Export data first, then ask support to rebuild from a supported image.

A reinstall returns the VPS to a supported base image (Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky Linux, or Windows Server when licensed). Everything on the disk is deleted.
- Download backups and snapshot anything you still need.
- Open a ticket from the dashboard with the service name, the target image and confirmation that data may be wiped.
- We schedule the rebuild, then send new root or Administrator credentials.
Windows reinstalls need the paid license to remain on the service. Custom ISOs are not a standard shared offering.
