Install your free SSL certificate
Every shared hosting plan includes a free DV SSL. Here is how we install it and what to check in the browser.

Free DV SSL is included on Personal, Business and Professional hosting, and you can turn it on yourself β no ticket needed.
- Point your domain to us first. SSL is issued by Let's Encrypt, which verifies your domain over HTTP β so it only succeeds once the domain resolves to your PK Hosting server. See Point your domain to PK Hosting.
- In your dashboard, open your hosting service and click Enable free SSL. The certificate issues in a few seconds and auto-renews from then on.
- Turn on Redirect visitors to HTTPS in the same panel so everyone lands on the secure version.
Once active, visit https://yourdomain.com β you should see the padlock. A "mixed content" warning usually means an image or script still loads over plain HTTP; update those URLs to https://.
If the button reports a DNS problem, your domain isn't pointing here yet β fix that first, then try again. Stuck? Our team is happy to issue it for you: open a ticket or email support@pkhosting.com.
OV and EV certificates are separate products β order them from the SSL page if you need business verification on the certificate itself.
