Configure DKIM and DMARC for your domain

Add SPF, DKIM and DMARC TXT records so mailbox providers can authenticate mail from your domain.

Last updated

Mailbox providers look at three records. Add them in Dashboard β†’ DNS when we host DNS, or at Cloudflare / your registrar if DNS is elsewhere.

  • SPF β€” TXT on @ listing the servers allowed to send. Start from the value shown on your hosting welcome notes; do not publish two SPF records.
  • DKIM β€” a selector TXT (often default._domainkey). Open a ticket and we publish the exact name and key for your mailbox host. Paste it unchanged.
  • DMARC β€” TXT on _dmarc. Start with v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:you@yourdomain.com, watch reports, then move to quarantine or reject once aligned.

A wrong DKIM key or a second SPF record is worse than none. If you send campaigns through a third-party ESP, include their include: mechanism in SPF and their DKIM selector as well.
