Reseller account lifecycle

How a reseller account is created, how clients are added, and what happens at suspension or cancellation.

Last updated

Reseller plans let you create hosting accounts for your own clients on the PK Hosting platform.

  1. Order β€” checkout a Reseller R1/R2/R3 plan. Billing stays on pkhosting.com unless we agree a separate arrangement.
  2. Handover β€” you receive panel access, private nameserver instructions and the storage/website envelope for that tier.
  3. Create client accounts β€” add accounts inside the hosting panel. Their sites, mail and databases count against your reseller limits.
  4. Branding β€” white-label nameservers and client branding are included; you still invoice those clients yourself unless a separate billing integration is scoped.
  5. Suspension β€” an unpaid reseller invoice can suspend the parent and every client account under it. Pay before expiry.
  6. Cancellation β€” export client files and databases first. After closure, data may be deleted. Domain registrations remain the registrant's asset through their natural expiry.

Moving a client onto their own shared plan later is a normal upgrade path β€” ask support to split the account rather than copying files by hand if you want us to do it. We use a staged migration designed to minimize downtime. DNS propagation, application behavior and the old provider can still cause temporary interruption, so zero downtime is not guaranteed.
